From November 6-8, experts from the cement and concrete industry will gather in Düsseldorf for the 9th International Congress of the German VDZ to discuss the latest developments and future trends shaping our field. The program includes a lot of exciting impulses from our customers such as Dyckerhoff, Alpacem or Rohrdorfer. We look forward to intense and exciting days and to engaging with our fantastic cement and concrete clients. Wenn mich jemand fragt, welches Medium ich regelmäßig und intensiv lese, kommt mir sofort die ZEIT Verlagsgruppe in den Sinn – egal ob True-Crime-Podcast, Magazine oder die Zeitung selbst. Umso cooler ist es, in der aktuellen Ausgabe der ZEIT für Unternehmer und auf ZEIT ONLINE über Beton, Dekarbonisierung und alcemy zu lesen! Der Artikel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Er erklärt, woher die CO₂-Emissionen im Klinker-Brennprozess stammen, warum dieses Thema für Zement- und Transportbetonhersteller so komplex ist und wie wir mit unserem Machine Learning genau bei dieser Challenge unterstützen. Es ist unglaublich wichtig, die Komplexität der Dekarbonisierung vom Zement und Beton zu verdeutlichen und zu zeigen, dass unsere Kunden schon sehr viel machen, das Ganze aber eben nicht so einfach ist, wie manche suggerieren.

🎤 alcemy bei der VDB-Tagung in Dresden Am 26. September 2024 fand im Betonzentrum Dresden die Fachtagung des Vereins Deutscher Betoningenieure statt, bei der vor allem Innovationen und die neuesten Entwicklungen in der Betonindustrie im Fokus standen. Unter anderem waren spannende Vorträge zu den Themen Normung, Branchentrends und nachhaltige Baustoffe zu hören. Auch wir von alcemy waren vor Ort dabei: Unser Kollege Dennis Stegelmann, Betontechnologe und bei uns als Customer Success Manager tätig, hat um 11:30 Uhr einen Vortrag zum Thema Dekarbonisierung von Zement und Beton sowie dem Einsatz klinkereffizienter Zemente gehalten. Er hat dabei erklärt, wie wir mit Hilfe unserer KI-gestützten Software die CO2-Emissionen in der Betonproduktion signifikant senken können. Vor Ort war auch unser Kollege David N., der sich ebenfalls über die spannenden Anregungen aus der Industrie und die interessante Gespräche gefreut hat. Vielen Dank für die Einladung!
