For the first time in Europe, tozero has made a major breakthrough in battery recycling, successfully completing a battery cell test using 100% recycled graphite. 🇪🇺 This breakthrough not only advances battery recycling, but marks a crucial step toward European supply chain independence. 🔋 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: ✔️  Europe imports 98% of its graphite — China controls 90% of global supply. ✔️  Graphite accounts for up to 40% of a battery's carbon footprint. ✔️  By 2040, EU graphite demand will be 20-25x current levels. 🤝 We're proud to congratulate Sarah Fleischer, Ksenija Milicevic Neumann, and the entire tozero team on this exciting milestone.
