🎉 We are welcoming a new portfolio company: Emidat! 🎉 Today, we are very excited to announce our co-investment in Emidat's €4m Seed round. The team has raised an incredible round, led by General Catalyst with participation from Übermorgen Ventures, BOOOM💥, ourselves at Auxxo Female Catalyst Fund and business angels Claire Hughes Johnson, Renaud Visage and Magali Anderson. With construction and real estate sectors accounting for roughly 40% of global greenhouse gas emissions, Emidat is tackling this challenge head-on. Their AI-driven platform simplifies the creation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) by automating data collection, lifecycle assessment, and compliance verification, making EPDs faster and more affordable. This solution allows manufacturers to create accurate, compliant EPDs efficiently and sustainably, eliminating the need for external consultants. We are extremely excited to announce that our portfolio company BIOVOX GmbH has closed their €2.2m Seed round! 🎉 BIOVOX GmbH produces and supplies medically safe and sustainable plastics that meet current and future standards for the healthcare sector. Its bio-based plastics reduce the carbon footprint by 50-85% compared to conventional plastics and can be used in a wide range of medical applications.
