We have been made aware that there are a number of scam messages being sent across WhatsApp where the sender impersonates recruiters & recruitment companies, including Avomind. They are promoting fake job ads and trying to obtain personal information from the recipient. If someone contacts you on WhatsApp or Telegram claiming to be from Avomind and it appears to be a phishing message or a scam, please 1) block the number and/or 2) report the scam depending on your local mobile provider. Here are some tips on how to spot a phishing message: - It’s a message that you weren’t expecting - It comes from a number or email address you don’t recognise - If it contains a link – please avoid clicking it - They are asking for money or personal details, such as your CV - The advert is poorly written and contains spelling errors We only contact our candidates and other contacts via professional means and will never call you or text you (via WhatsApp or non-professional platforms) without prior contact!
