Axolabs hat sich auf eine neue Klasse von Medikamenten spezialisiert, deren Wirkstoffe sich chemisch von DNA oder RNA ableiten. Sie werden als Oligonukleotid- bzw. Nukleinsäure-Therapeutika bezeichnet. Mit unserer langjährigen Expertise helfen wir unseren Kunden dabei, diese zum Erfolg zu führen. Einige dieser Medikamente sind bereits zugelassen und werden gegen bisher teils unbehandelbare Krankheiten erfolgreich eingesetzt. Jedes Jahr kommen neue Medikamente aus dieser Klasse hinzu. Axolabs gehört zur LGC-Gruppe. Deren Business Unit für Nukleinsäure-Therapeutika wird unter dem Markennamen Axolabs zusammengefasst. Axolabs betreibt Firmen an folgenden Standorten: Axolabs GmbH, Kulmbach, Deutschland Die Axolabs GmbH ist die weltweit führende Auftragsforschungsorganisation auf dem Gebiet der Nukleinsäuretherapeutika mit einer breiten Palette von Leistungen. Axolabs Berlin, Berlin, Deutschland Axolabs baut derzeit einen neuen Standort in Berlin für die GMP-Herstellung von Nukleinsäuretherapeutika auf. Der Standort ist für die klinische GMP-Herstellung von Nukleinsäuretherapeutika im mittleren bis großen Maßstab und in der frühen bis späten Phase vorgesehen. Die hochmoderne Anlage wird integrierte Analyse- und Syntheselösungen liefern. Die Betriebsaufnahme ist für das Jahr 2025 geplant. Axolabs Petaluma, Petaluma, Kalifornien, USA Axolabs betreibt in Petaluma eine Anlage zur cGMP-Produktion von Oligonukleotid-Wirkstoffen für technische, toxikologische und präklinische bis hin zu späten klinischen Studien.
