I’m excited to introduce my new company, Tessl! We’re reimagining software development for the AI era, and helping shape a new software development paradigm we call 𝐀𝐈 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. The AI tools we use for development today are novel and powerful, and we should all invest in embracing them - but they are only the beginning. They optimize dev workflows created before the LLM revolution, 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐈 at various spots. To tap the true potential of AI-powered dev, we need to rethink these workflows from first principles, assuming 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐢𝐧. This is what we mean by AI Native development. I’ve linked to our launch blog post in the comments, as well as our new podcast. In both, we’ll explore AI Assisted dev tools and what AI Native Software Development is, and how the two will connect. Over time, you’ll see Tessl offering tools to help make this new software development paradigm a reality. On a personal note, choosing to found another company wasn’t an easy call. My passion for Snyk and Developer Security is as strong as ever, the Snyk team and product continue to be superb, and I love the broadened commitment to AI Trust - so much growth is still ahead!  And yet, I’m an entrepreneur at heart, and the potential to transform software development won me over :)  I transitioned to an active board role at Snyk at the start of the year, and continue to support Peter and the exec team as I focus on building Tessl. I am humbled by having some of the best people I’ve ever worked with join me in forming Tessl, and I look forward to exploring this new era for software development with them and all of you, and to help serve developers in a new, AI Native way. With financing from local VC firm Ascend Vietnam Ventures (AVV) and Singapore-based VC firm TNB Aura, agritech startup TechCoop Pte. Ltd. secured over $5 million in equity and debt from local banks on March 21. Ethos Ventures, South Korean impact investor MYSC, and Mandala Capital also participated in the fundraising. The agritech startup will use the proceeds for technology development and expansion across 30 cities and provinces in Vietnam through eight strategic operation hubs in Ho Chi Minh An Giang, Ben Tre, Binh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, DakLak, Gia Lai, and Lam Dong. https://lnkd.in/gM9UbCuz

I had the privilege of attending the Blue Future Partners Summit in Munich last week, an event that truly exemplified the spirit of innovation and forward thinking. I want to thank the hosts for orchestrating such an inspiring gathering and congratulate them on bringing together a phenomenal group of Europe's most ambitious founders, who are at the forefront of crafting the next moonshot ideas (Daniel Wiegand @Lilium, Heike Freund @Marvel Fusion, Hendrik Kramer @FERNRIDE and Mark Kugel @Yuri) The panels shed light on the multifaceted journey of deep tech ventures, highlighting both the bright opportunities and inherent challenges in Europe. The unanimous consensus: Europe is ripe for a thriving deep tech ecosystem, equipped with all the necessary components. As an early supporter of their groundbreaking work (together with Maximilian A. Schwarz from Nucleus Capital also in attendance), I want to applaud Mark Kugel from Yuri for captivating us with their story – a testament to what the unstoppable believe in the incredible potential in the intersection of synbio and space can achieve.
