🔧 The power of partnerships: Supporting installers with the right tools, training, and technology.   🎤 Michael Hilpert, President of the Zentralverband Sanitär Heizung Klima (ZVSHK), Niels Lorenz, Head of Sales at Buderus Deutschland, Tino Hirsch, Head of Sales at Bosch Home Comfort, and Rainer Ortmann took the stage at ISH to discuss how strong partnerships between trade and industry drive innovation in the HVAC sector.   🤝 The demand for skilled installers continues to rise, yet capacity remains limited, especially as heat pump installations require more consultation and planning. Efficiency is the key factor, and our brands Buderus Deutschland and Bosch Home Comfort Deutschland are actively addressing this challenge with concrete solutions. From plug-and-play systems that reduce installation time and free up more capacity for customer consultation to training programs and tailored service offerings, every effort is aimed at supporting and relieving installers in their daily work.   💡 Workforce development remains crucial. Training programs and digitalization help secure skilled professionals for the future, ensuring that the industry can meet growing demand. Hesse’s role in the HVAC industry: Political and industry perspectives! 🎤 Yesterday, Inés Fröhlich, State Secretary at the Hessian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport, Housing, and Rural Areas, joined Rainer Ortmann, Nevaf Celik, and Thomas Pelizaeus on stage to discuss how Hesse is shaping the global HVAC industry. Their conversation highlighted the region’s role in driving innovation, industrial growth, and the energy transition.   💬 Inés Fröhlich emphasized the need for reliable policies and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to reducing CO₂, while stressing the importance of strong collaboration between industry and policymakers to create sustainable solutions.   🤝 To ensure long-term success, Nevaf Celik outlined key industry demands, including lower electricity costs, continued heat pump funding, and a more flexible regulatory framework. The discussion reinforced the need for a supportive political environment to drive innovation and growth.   💚 After the session, Inés Fröhlich took a closer look at the latest HVAC innovations during a tour of the Buderus Deutschland booth led by Stefan Thiel.   While the Bosch Home Comfort Group stage program has now wrapped up, ISH continues until Friday! 🔎 Shaping the future of HVAC with young talent! Yesterday at ISH Frankfurt, the next generation showed us how they are driving innovation in the heating and cooling industry during two inspiring sessions:   🎓 As part of a competition, students pitched their heat pump concepts for 2050, exploring new energy sources and system designs. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Constanze Bongs and Dr. Johannes Brugmann challenged them with questions before the audience selected the most promising idea. Congratulations to the team from DHSN | Duale Hochschule Sachsen for winning with their holistic home concept, as well as to the finalists from Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) for their outstanding submissions!   💬 In another inspiring session, Cornelia Kölle, Global Head of Human Resources at Bosch Home Comfort Group, shared insights into our approach to career development. Together with the three young talents Sarah Kliem, Florian Schmidt, and Kristina Walcher, she led an engaging discussion about career journeys, challenges, and opportunities in the HVAC industry.   💡 Engaging with young professionals is not just important for our industry, it is essential for accelerating innovation and achieving climate goals. We are committed to empowering the next generation and providing them with the opportunities for them to contribute to the energy transition.

Insights, innovations and great conversations: Another exciting day at ISH Frankfurt! 🎤 One of today’s highlights was the discussion on climate policy and how the European legislative framework translates into tangible local impact, aligning with EU regulations and sustainability goals. Vítor Gregório, Niels Ladefoged from the European Commission and Rainer Ortmann shared valuable insights on the essential steps needed to turn global strategies into concrete action across different regions within the EU framework.    💡 Our stage program also featured an exciting quiz, thought-provoking discussions on global HVAC trends, the future of heat pumps, career insights, and the role of local innovations in shaping a greener world. Big thanks to our expert speakers, including Svenja Rühl, Prof. Dr.-Ing. 📢 At today’s press conference Jan Brockmann, Birte Lübbert and Thomas Volz shared key figures from the business year 2024 and provided an outlook for the Bosch Home Comfort Group in the months and years ahead. 2024 was marked by challenging market conditions, leading to a significant decline in the European heating sector.    📈 In 2024, the Bosch Home Comfort Group generated sales of approximately 4.4 billion euros and also maintained the high level of Research & Development spending of 256 million euros. A milestone for 2025 is the planned 8 billion dollars (7.4 billion euros) acquisition of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning business for residential and light commercial buildings from Johnson Controls and Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning which we plan to close in summer 2025. This marks the largest acquisition in Bosch’s history and is a key step on the way to becoming a global leader in the HVAC industry.    🤝 Our motto, 'Local heroes for global change', reflects our conviction that regional expertise is the key to true global progress.
