Yesterday the BRAINSTORM consortium successfully completed the first review #meeting with our PO and monitors from European Commission. Thank you to the monitors for the valuable feedback and to all our team members for the excellent contributions to the #review and the project so far! We are grateful to work with such an amazing #team, led by our coordinator Danijela Gregurec (FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg) and the group leaders Nicola Toschi (University of Rome Tor Vergata), Sergio Moya (CIC biomaGUNE), Vincenzo Cerullo ,(University of Helsinki), Hadi Heidari (University of Glasgow).

Elif Kocar (Biointerfaces Lab, FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg) and Bilal Nizami (University of Rome Tor Vergata), both PhD students in the the BRAINSTORM project, are visiting our collaborators at Università degli Studi di Torino to perform ex vivio experiments with our newly designed nanoparticles in the MRI scanner facilities. Naside Tezcan, student at Biointerfaces Lab, has started her research stay at the University of Glasgow this week. Naside is visiting our collaborators at Glasgow Microelectronics (meLAB). The group of Professor Hadi Heidari will introduce her to microelectronics design and production in the framework of the BRAINSTORM project. Enjoy your stay Naside! We had a fruitful meeting with our amazing consortium last week in Rome. I had a great time last week in Denmark 🇩🇰 as keynote speaker for IEEE #NORCAS 2023 conference presenting our research in 3 European Commission #EIC projects on brain 🧠 neurotechnologies: HERMES - Hybrid Enhanced Regenerative Medicine Systems, CROSSBRAIN, and BRAINSTORM! Wonderful environment for IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) in Scondinavian countries.
