Individual components are also tested in the Innovation Test Centre. 🌱Kiefel Centers: Addressing diverse R&D challenges like reducing packaging weight and increasing stability. Our Material R&D Centres in Freilassing, Dover (USA), and Sprang-Capelle (Netherlands) specialize in natural fibres, recycled, and bio-based plastics. They also create customer-specific developments, material and product samples, and conduct proof of concepts. The Customer Innovation Centres offer prototype systems for packaging solutions in various sectors, including food & beverage, medical, and pharmaceutical. 🌿PackSys Global's KREALab in Rüti: A trendsetter in advancing environmentally friendly technology and process research, focusing on sectors like cosmetics, health, pharmaceuticals, and beverage packaging. 🏢Brueckner Group USA Customer Innovation Centre: Opened in 2023, it provides state-of-the-art conditions for testing innovative and sustainable processes. This equates to a reduction of 4.4 tons of CO₂ per hour of film production – a significant step towards climate protection. Our latest research aims at testing even higher proportions of post-consumer recyclate in BO film production. 🤝We actively participate in industry initiatives to promote the shift towards a circular economy. Through partnerships along the value chain and the research on alternative materials, we develop sustainable solutions that minimize raw material usage and reduce our customers’ environmental impact.
