Using AI to create high-performance, sustainable biomaterials for use in various industries sounds like a great idea – and thus Cambrium has been awarded with Berlin’s #DeepTechAward in the AI category! 🏆 💡The Berlin-based biotech startup Cambrium is pioneering the use of generative AI in protein design and synthesis. “By harnessing the power of AI and biological systems, Cambrium aims to replace traditional, often environmentally harmful, materials with innovative, eco-friendly alternatives”, says co-founder and CEO Mitchell Duffy. 👏 Since 2015, the Senatsverwaltung für Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe has awarded Berlin companies and startups with the Deep Tech Award. The award is given to both application-oriented and proven solutions as well as software and/or hardware-based products that are characterized by a high degree of innovation and great future potential. 🤝 K.I.E.Z. Künstliche Intelligenz Entrepreneurship Zentrum is the proud patron of the Deep Tech Award’s AI category – and thus happy to introduce this year’s winner Cambrium to the wider K.I.E.Z. community.
