Christmas is coming early.... We gave ourselves a present for Christmas! 🎁🎄 We bought ourselves a 3D laser sintering system. As we normally cast our coils, the purchase of a 3D laser sintering system may seem surprising at first. However, there are good reasons why this technology is a valuable addition. By combining the processes, we are faster in prototype production for very small quantities and can provide different variants for testing in aluminium and copper in the shortest possible time. Speed and flexibility in prototyping then feed directly into developing economical serial production in various casting processes! Weniger Emissionen – mehr Wettbewerbsfähigkeit für den Mobilitätssektor Wie können wir es schaffen, eine wirksame und wirtschaftlich tragfähige #Dekarbonisierung des Mobilitätssektors umzusetzen, ohne dabei unsere #Wettbewerbsfähigkeit einzubüßen? Diese Frage bestimmte die Fachkonferenz zum Thema „Wettbewerbsfähige #Klimaschutzpolitik für den Mobilitätssektor“, die die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V. in Kooperation mit der KlimaUnion e.V. am 23. September in Berlin abgehalten hat. In ihren Eröffnungsreden betonten Dr. Peter Fischer-Bollin und Thomas Heilmann MdB die Gefahren und Unausweichlichkeit des #Klimawandel|s. Als zentrales marktbasiertes Instrument soll der Europäische Emissionshandel (ETS) ab 2027 als ETS 2 für die #Emissionsreduktion im #Verkehrssektor und Gebäudebereich sorgen. Dieser sei der Meinung von Dr. Peter #Liese MdEP (CDU/EVP) nach aber „in großer Gefahr“. Gleichzeitig betonte er, dass wir ohne den Emissionshandel unsere Klimaziele jedoch nicht erreichen könnten. Dr. Michael Pahle (PIK) bezeichnete den ETS als „𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘪𝘵“-Faktor der europäischen #Klimapolitik und sprach sich für einen klugen Policy-Mix aus. Dr. Heike van Hoorn (DVF) betonte, dass die Nutzung der Einnahmen aus dem ETS klar geregelt sein müssen, um die Akzeptanz seitens Industrie und Gesellschaft sicherzustellen. Neben dem ETS bietet auch die #Elektromobilität vielversprechende Ansätze für die #Klimaneutralität. Angesichts der aktuellen Debatte um die Förderung von E-Autos waren sich Dr. Andreas Lenz MdB und Andreas Rade (VDA) einig, dass es einer besseren Standortpolitik in Deutschland bedürfe, um in diesem Bereich wettbewerbsfähig zu bleiben. Franz-Josef Wöstmann (Cast Coil) kritisierte den Umgang mit jungen, innovativen Unternehmen in Deutschland als weiteren Standortnachteil – es fehle an Risikobereitschaft. In ihrem Schlusswort stellte Sabina Wölkner noch einmal fest: Bei der Dekarbonisierung gehe es nicht nur um die Umstellung auf saubere Energie, sondern auch um Sicherheit und Bezahlbarkeit.   👉 Hier die zentralen Erkenntnisse der Diskussionen: 💡 Für wettbewerbsfähigen Klimaschutz ist gerade im Mobilitätssektor eine umfassende und koordinierte Strategie erforderlich. Sie muss neben ökologischen auch ökonomische und soziale Aspekte bei der Dekarbonisierung berücksichtigen und international gedacht sein. 💡 Der ETS 2 schadet der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit nicht. Er verbessert sie und schafft ein level playing field für Deutschland auf EU-Ebene.  💡 Der politische Markt für den ETS muss glaubwürdig sein und die Prinzipien sollten klar in die Öffentlichkeit kommuniziert und erklärt werden. 💡 Die ETS-Einnahmen bieten einen Hebel für Zukunftsinvestitionen und soziale Balance.  💡 Die Elektromobilität ist der Schlüssel zur Dekarbonisierung des Mobilitätsbereichs, die Produkte müssen jedoch bezahlbar sein.
