One of our esteemed members is Dr. Kai Brüggemann whose extensive background in aerospace and rail industries brings invaluable expertise to our team. Since September 2021, Kai has been Managing Director of Deharde GmbH a metal processing company specializing in the aviation industry. Prior to this, Kai gained many years of experience as a plant and site manager at Airbus developing a deep understanding of aircraft construction and production processes. He also held roles at railway companies Deutsche Bahn and ÖBB Technical Services. His knowledge of both aviation manufacturing and transportation infrastructure is of great value for the further development of EVIA AERO. ✈️ Our Advisory Board plays a crucial role in guiding EVIA AERO’s strategic direction, offering industry expertise and valuable insights. This week we were in Chemnitz for three days to talk to our partners on site. After the land lease agreements for the PV system were signed last September, Robert Rahnfeld and Florian Kruse have now also defined the configuration of the BESS system and the land infrastructure in an MoU for Verkehrslandeplatz Chemnitz / Jahnsdorf GmbH. #Chemnitz is a city of 250,000 inhabitants that is very poorly connected to the rail network. The city is also the European Capital of Culture this year. However, together with the district of #Erzgebirge, it has a large number of medium-sized companies that urgently need connectivity. We are now taking care of the energy infrastructure at the airport in order to establish regional air traffic there later. This is not only a market for us, but certainly also for airlines like flyvbird - Smart flying. The smaller airports are becoming more and more interesting for relaxed travel.
