As proud alumni and supporters of Gateway, it was particularly meaningful to represent our community and contribute to its growing network. 🚀 Ghent proved to be the ideal location – a beautiful city that captivates not only with its charm but also with its vibrant, innovative atmosphere. The event was flawlessly organized, and the intimate, welcoming setting made it easy to dive into meaningful conversations and connect with others. 🤝🏼 One of the highlights was the regional focus on Flanders: we gained valuable insights into the local ecosystem and visited key companies, giving us a strong foundation to consider new expansion opportunities. 💡 A big thank you to the Gateway team and everyone involved for such an inspiring experience – we’re excited to integrate these insights into our work and continue building the future together! 🚀

Estonia’s technological leap is nothing short of remarkable. During my visit to Tallinn earlier this year, I was already impressed, but this event took that impression to a whole new level. Estonia truly sets the bar when it comes to digital innovation. 🇪🇪 That said, Germany is certainly not lagging behind. Joining our delegation at GITEX reminded me once again just how many groundbreaking technologies are coming out of German companies. The German Pavilion was packed with forward-thinking companies, showcasing innovations that prove we’re more than ready to compete globally. It’s inspiring to see how Germany is stepping up in the tech world. 💥 One of the most surprising takeaways? So many countries already have dedicated AI ministers. The speed and openness with which AI is being adopted globally is staggering. Reflecting on an incredible event with XAnge in Berlin! 🚀 I had the opportunity to attend XAnge’s exclusive event in Berlin for the launch of the new Series A Blueprint report, tailored specifically for scale-ups, and I’m leaving with some invaluable insights. The event brought together ambitious scale-ups like catchHR and an impressive lineup of Europe’s top VCs. The atmosphere was electric, with a mix of shared experiences, candid challenges, and forward-thinking strategies shaping our discussions. 🚀 One of the most powerful takeaways: the shift in investment planning cycles. Where 18 months was once the norm, we're now advised to plan for a 24-month runway. This longer horizon calls for greater strategic foresight, resilience, and resource allocation as we build for the future.
