Our knot-tying technologies and medical devices are developed for surgical suture materials, and for intra-corporeal closure devices in laparoscopic and robotically assisted surgery. Clouz products are developed with patented technology and designed in collaboration with minimally-invasive specialists at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

🎉 Clouz has been granted a European patent for our innovative surgical device. This adds to our already granted Chinese patent for the same device, and European, US and Japanese technology patents. It's fun and rewarding to see a user-centered design development process result in a physical product that end users love - AND be granted IP protection for the innovation.

Clouz has been certified (ISO 13485) as a medical product developer and while we are waiting for the MDR CE Class IIb certification for our first product, Clouz OneKnot, we want to highlight some of our fantastic collaborators in making it happen. PONG worked with us in the prototyping stages, coming up with solutions for designing the OneKnot product to make it as intuitive and surgeon-friendly as possible. Yesterday was the last day of the Deepdive week into the Limburg medtech ecosystem. It was a good week with a lot of knowledge sharing and impressions. We ended the afternoon with a tour of the Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus following a presentation at the cleanrooms of Medace BV.
