Projects Close to Our Hearts: Our Donation to Dresden – Place to be! e.V. 💜 What makes our #Herzensprojekte (Projects Close to our Hearts) so special? Our employees decide which organisations receive a donation! Once a year, they can nominate their favourite charities and initiatives. From all the entries, the entire DAS EE team chooses five projects to receive €1,000 each. 🎁 Our next winner is Dresden - Place to be! e.V. 🏆 The organisation is committed to civic engagement and supports numerous projects that focus on welcoming culture, promoting education and a cosmopolitan urban society. 🤝 Dresden - Place to be! is co-organiser of the annual citizens' festival "Dresden is(s)t bunt". 🌈 Our donation will benefit the organisation's 'Reading Mentors' project for primary schools in Dresden. The money will be used to buy new books and games for the volunteer reading mentors to help children learn to read in a fun way. 📚 We had the honour of presenting the cheque at Dresden's 102nd primary school 'Johanna', where the project successfully started.
