Celebrating 70 years of infa! 🎉   This year marks a special milestone for our #infa24, Germany's largest and most popular consumer trade fair. 🛍️ For seven decades, this unique entertainment and shopping fair has stood for innovation, inspiration, and unforgettable moments. Over the years, infa has not only set trends but also enthused generations of visitors with a diverse program of offerings. 🤗   In particular, we are delighted to receive so many positive messages from our community. For example, our long-time Infa fan Uta surprised us with a self-made card containing 70 handmade, coloured candles and the following statement: "The 70 coloured candles symbolise the experience and shopping fair, the huge variety of products, the diverse daily programme and the world of trade, which, as you know, is also quite colourful. For me, infa is a highlight of the year!" 😍   All visitors can look forward to over 750 exhibitors in 7 halls, 6 theme worlds and 3 weekend specials as well as a bursting anniversary program with 400 acts, shows and workshops! 🍿   #TeamDMAG is looking forward to everyone who wants to celebrate with us! 💙

Thank you AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry for two days full of inspiration and collaboration at the MesseForum Social Media 2024! 🙏   The event was themed "Between AI and Authentic Experiences" and brought together Social Media experts and communicators from the whole German Trade Fair Industry - Of course we followed the invitation and represented our #TeamDMAG. The goal was to explore together how technology, especially #AI, is shaping the future of social media in the event section. 🤓   The keynote by Kai Heddergott was very inspiring and tried to answer the question "Does the future of trade fair communication lie in social intelligence?"? It was sparked with deep conversations about how AI can revolutionize the way we connect and engage with our audiences. 🤗   On top we also had the opportunity to discuss topics in depth in bar camps and exchange ideas about pains, fails and best practices while enjoying drinks and snacks! 🤩 What kind of influence do you think will artificial intelligence have within the event industry? 🤔 #InLoveWithTradeFairs #AUMAmefosome

Welcome to IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024! 💜 With nearly 1,700 exhibitors from 41 countries, this year's edition occupies two more halls than in 2022. The percentage of international exhibitors rose from 61.8% in 2022 to 72.3% in 2024, marking a historic record for the IAA. 🎉 Over the next days, more than 145 world premieres and innovations will be presented. Level up: Gamevasion Powered by DreamHack debuts in Hannover! 🚀   We are thrilled to announce that we will host the debut of the Gamevasion powered by DreamHack this December! From December 5 to 8, this exciting event will feature a BYOC LAN party and an expansive Expo from December 6 to 8. 🙌 After starting as an online festival, Gamevasion returns as a dynamic in-person experience, bringing together the gaming community to celebrate all things gaming! 🎮   “After many months of planning we are excited to bring the gaming festival back to Hannover this December, we are also thankful to Deutsche Messe AG for playing an instrumental role in the realization of this event,” said Michael Haenisch, CEO of Freaks 4U Gaming GmbH. Shaping the Future: Johanna Meyer’s Mission to Empower Women in STEM through the FEMWORX Congress! 🚀 "Ursula von der Leyen," Johanna replies without hesitation when asked who has particularly inspired her as the organizer of the FEMWORX Congress. "We had countless impressive women attending our congress," she continues. But the encounter with von der Leyen had a profound impact on her. "The President of the European Commission took a lot of time to discuss the promotion of women’s careers," Johanna says. 🙌 But Johanna's eyes also light up as she talks about more than just this meeting. Her passion for the congress is evident in every sentence. Femworx, the largest career conference for women in STEM, is held annually as part of HANNOVER MESSE. This year alone, 1,500 women gathered for two days to learn, network and advance their careers. 💡 "The months leading up to the event were a real rollercoaster ride," laughs Johanna. No wonder, since the FEMWORX Congress was previously known as "WomenPower" - an established part of HANNOVER MESSE for more than 20 years. "It was simply time for a remake," she explains. The concept was radically overhauled with a clear goal in mind: to shine an even brighter spotlight on women's careers in #STEM and to break new ground. "We wanted to create an event that wasn't just informative, but one that really helped and inspired attendees - cool, modern, and emotional," Johanna says enthusiastically. 🔥 #FEMWORX stands for empowerment, innovation and networking. This year's speakers included impressive personalities such as Tijen Onaran, Aya Jaff, Annahita Esmailzadeh, Dr. Irène Kilubi, Evelyne de Gruyter, Natascha Wegelin and Christina Richter. 🎤 "There are so many conferences where you immediately notice that the speakers or companies have bought their way in. It feels more like a sales event," Johanna says, shaking her head. "That's exactly what we don't want." While companies can sign up as exhibitors, the actual speaker slots are allocated by the FEMWORX advisory board, which is filled with women from industry, digitalization and media, including Dr. Kamila Klug of Altair, Angelique Mesch of Schneider Electric, Gabriele Hantschel of IBM, Gerlinde Sturm of Siemens, Angela Josephs of Phoenix Contact and Prof. Barbara Schwarze. This is about real expertise and authenticity. 🤝 The overwhelming feedback after the events shows that this is the right approach. Yesterday we introduced a new format to our employees: the Ice-Break(er)! 🍦 As the temperatures in Hannover are very high and many new colleagues joined our #TeamDMAG in the recent past, we tried to combine work and fun. 🤝 So we ordered a lot of ice cream and created a relaxed setting on our park-like exhibition grounds (aka #MessegelaendeHannover). The main goal of this event was not only to cool down during the work break while enjoying the sun, but also to break the ice between the new employees and our long-time employees. 🔥 We placed this event right on the way to our canteen, so everyone had to walk past the temptation and maybe leave some room for dessert on their way back to the offices! 😁 Our colleagues gave us great feedback and we are already thinking about the next surprising employee event.
