Good News: We are launching the Climate Ticket! 🎉 Just in time for HANNOVER MESSE 2025, we’re introducing a new way to make trade fair travel more sustainable: the Climate Ticket! 🌿 From now on, all visitors and exhibitors with an admission ticket for our trade fairs can enjoy free public transport in Hannover! 🚆 Thanks to our partnership with ÜSTRA Hannoversche Verkehrsbetriebe AG, every valid admission ticket for any Deutsche Messe trade fair will automatically be entitled to complimentary public transportation access within the ÜSTRA network. This initiative also extends to guest organizers hosting events at our exhibition grounds, allowing them to offer the same benefit to their attendees. 🙌 With this initiative, we are taking the next step toward reducing CO₂ emissions and making travel easier, greener and more cost-effective for our guests! 💚 Will you be using the Climate Ticket for your next visit? Spring Break on our exhibition grounds! 🌸 Yesterday, we hosted another edition of our regular #TeamDMAG get-together – this time with a Spring Break theme! 💐 Even though the weather wasn’t quite as spring-like as we had hoped, we made the most of it, enjoying coffee, hot chocolate, macarons, and other treats while exchanging ideas and connecting. ☕🍰 It was also a great opportunity to get into the spirit for our upcoming trade shows: HANNOVER MESSE, REAL ESTATE ARENA and LIGNA! 🙌 A big thank you to all our colleagues who joined and brought positive vibes despite the weather! 💙

Women's power in the trade fair industry! 🚀 The trade fair industry is as diverse as the people who are part of it! 🌈 From event planning to IT to marketing, women are represented in all areas and make a significant contribution to the success of events. You did it! Congratulations on passing your apprenticeship! 🎉 Pia, Lina, Yvonne, Julia and Eeske-Marit have successfully completed their training as event managers with the final exam - and in a shortened training period! 🎓 Instead of the regular three years, they shortened their training to just under 2.5 years! 💪 Their first professional station now takes them to our protocol department, where they are helping to shape HANNOVER MESSE 2025. Lina, Yvonne, Eeske-Marit and Julia take care of the delegations and assist with the organization of the opening ceremony and other side events. Pia is part of the FEMWORX team and supports the organization of the congress. 🚀 As part of #MesseMonatMärz, we show that trade fairs are indispensable for the German economy! 🇩🇪 And this requires committed young professionals who are passionate about what they do - just like our new event managers! 💙 We are delighted that these five are strengthening our #TeamDMAG and wish them every success and happiness in their future careers! 🫶 #InLoveWithTradeFairs

The German Protestant Kirchentag is coming to Hannover! 🙌 From April 30 to May 4, 2025, our exhition grounds and the city of Hannover will transform into a vibrant festival of faith, culture, and music! 🎶 The Deutscher Evangelischer Kirchentag is a unique event that brings together over 100,000 people every two years in a different German city. It’s an open invitation to celebrate, discuss and shape ideas for the future. 🌍 This year is special: The Kirchentag is returning to its roots, as it was founded in Hannover in 1949! 🎉 After last taking place in the city in 2005, Hannover will once again be the stage for more than 1,500 events this year. From thought-provoking discussions at the exhibition grounds to inspiring concerts and cultural programs across the city – Kirchentag is where faith, society, and ideas come together. 🤝 For an event of this scale, many dedicated volunteers are needed. If you’d like to be part of it, you can still sign up on the Kirchentag website! ✍️

Fire fighting action on our exhibition grounds! 🔥   Things heated up at the world's first FireFit winter indoor event in our Hall 2 at the weekend! Around 200 participants from Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands, Ireland and Ukraine took on the extreme challenges of the firefighting competition! 💪   What are the FireFit Championships powered by HAIX Group? 🤔 The competition is based on real firefighting operations: Sprinting up stairs, dragging hoses, opening doors, rescuing people and putting out fires - all in full gear and with heavy breathing protection equipment. The final boss awaits at the end: Randy. The 80-kilogram rescue dummy is carried backwards to the finish line in a rescue grip. 🏁   Our apprentice Noah can confirm just how exhausting this is. He was able to compete against a colleague from HAIX and won without any special training - respect! 👏   We are always impressed by the performance of the participants and are already looking forward to welcoming the FireFit Championships and the rescue community again at INTERSCHUTZ - Hannover from June 1-6, 2026! 💙   ©Photos: Erik Langenhahn

From one Preview to the next: LIGNA Preview 2025! 🙌   This week is all about exclusive industry insights! Just one day after the HANNOVER MESSE Preview, we shift our focus to another one: the LIGNA Preview. As we count down the days to LIGNA 2025, the woodworking and wood processing industry is preparing for an exciting edition of the world's leading trade show. 💡   During the press conference, our CEO Dr. Jochen Köckler emphasized LIGNA's critical role in driving innovation and building confidence in challenging times! 🌍   An interesting keynote by Thijs Meijerink from IKEA Sweden explored how AI and data integration can transform daily operations and production in the woodworking industry. 📊   Following the conference, journalists had the exclusive opportunity to engage with 26 exhibitors and get a sneak peek at the technologies and solutions they will be showcasing at this year's edition. ️🔍   This year we also celebrate 50 years of LIGNA - half a century of innovation and collaboration in the woodworking industry! On the road to HANNOVER MESSE 2025! 🙌 Today we hosted the HANNOVER MESSE Press Preview - an exclusive look at what to expect at #HM25! 🎬 Our CEO, Dr. Jochen Köckler, emphasized at the press conference: "The current economic and geopolitical realities demand decisive action. Never before has attending HANNOVER MESSE been so vital to securing a competitive advantage." 🌐 In addition, this year's Partner Country Canada showed what is to come and #AI was discussed as one of the central topics by experts Sepp Hochreiter and Fatma Kocer-Poyraz! 🎤 A highlight was the presentation of the ROBOTICS AWARD. This year's award went to the Canadian company Maple Advanced Robotics Inc. for their innovative project MARI AARS – congratulations! 👏 Following the press conference, journalists had the opportunity to engage with around 30 exhibitors who provided a first glimpse of the innovations they will be showcasing at this year's edition. ABF & B.I.G. 2025: Five days of action, adventure & inspiration! 🚀 On Sunday, Northern Germany’s largest leisure and experience fair successfully came to an end. 🏕️ With 81,000 visitors, 550 exhibitors, and many inspiring moments, our halls were packed with trends, innovations, and interactive experiences - from travel, caravanning, outdoor activities, and mobility to building, interieur and gardening. 🙌 This year's partner countray was Canada! Visitors had the chance to discover breathtaking travel destinations, outdoor adventures, and Canadian lifestyle highlights firsthand. 🇨🇦 A special premiere this year was the first-ever ABF RUN! 🏃♂️🏃♀️ Despite the icy temperatures, 300 participants, including colleagues from #TeamDMAG, completed the 10.5 km course through our exhibition grounds. 👏 Other highlights included: 🔹 A thrilling talk by Joey Kelly about his Panamericana adventure 🎤 🔹 The Hula-Hoop-Day with Elli Hoop 🌀 🔹 VANLIFE@Night featuring special guest Tim Bendzko, who shared his passion for camping and performed live. 🎶 A huge thank you to our colleagues for their dedication and hard work! 💙 #InLoveWithTradeFairs
