💜 Celebrating #InternationalWomensDay 2025! Gender equality is a fundamental human right. Yet at the current rate, it will take 176 years to achieve gender parity in leadership positions. International Women's Day is not just a symbolic day: it's about taking concrete action. Again this year, we all celebrate the incredible women at Diehl Metering - from logistics to engineering, from China to the USA - who are shaping the future of our industry. Their happy, determined faces in our #IWD2025 collection tell our story of #diversity, strength and team spirit. 7️⃣ Our 7 priority programs encompass key #ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria, incorporating the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relevant to our business. In particular, our Social Pillar (S) focuses on employee well-being, community involvement and the promotion of diversity and equality - including SDG 5: gender equality. (https://lnkd.in/ef8-E_ET) Our commitment to gender equality doesn't stop there. We strive every day to foster an environment where all talents - regardless of gender - can thrive and succeed. 💪 Thank you to everyone who contributes to this movement - by participating, debating or simply thinking about the importance of gender equality. 🔗 Together, we're accelerating progress. #SDG5 #EmpowerASustainableFuture

💧 50% less groundwater - will drinking water still flow from the tap? At the 30th Water Colloquium in Erfurt, Thuringia's Minister President Mario Voigt made it clear that water must remain a top priority. Many of us take access to drinking water for granted. But behind every liter that flows out of the tap is an enormous effort - especially in times of drought, heavy rainfall and a decline in groundwater resources of up to 50 % in some regions of Thuringia emphasized Thuringia's Minister President. 🌍The federal region faces the challenge of securing its water supply in the long term despite climatic and demographic changes. This requires #smart investments - in modern #infrastructure, the expansion of the long-distance water network and the connection of rural regions. The Minister-President took the time to visit our stand, where we presented Diehl Metering's solutions to him. The city of #Erfurt is an example of a success story: it is considered an #innovative pioneer in digital networks and water loss management in Thuringia. Thanks to smart meters, data analysis and modern wireless technologies such as mioty® and LPWAN, work is already underway to ensure security of supply in the future. 🤝Water-related challenges can only be solved together - through open dialog between all stakeholders. Let's collaborate to make water supply more resilient.
