Showing resilience rain or shine: EEW Korea at the 19th Sacheon Sunset Marathon 🏃♀️➡️ 🏃♂️➡️ 🌦️ Last weekend, 50 enthusiastic participants from EEW Korea, including some family members of our employees, took part in the 19th Sacheon Sunset Marathon. While the weather did not quite match the event’s name, this certainly did not cloud the atmosphere! Despite the weather, everyone had fun and a great time together, sharing moments of teamwork, resilience and plenty of laughter. 🙌 We’re proud of our team for their enthusiasm and positivity, regardless of the weather. Recruiting Day at Offshore Connect 2024 🚀 The EEW SPC team had an amazing experience at the Offshore Connect Recruiting Day in Rostock. During this two-day event, focused on the offshore wind energy industry, we had the opportunity to meet potential specialists and introduce EEW SPC to a talented pool of applicants. From speed-dating sessions to company presentations, the event provided an excellent platform for us to connect with new talent and address the industry's growing need for skilled professionals. 💡 "The Offshore Connect Recruiting Day provided a great platform for targeting skilled professionals passionate about the industry. Behind-the-scenes: Oxy-fuel cutting with hydrogen 👩🏭 🎬 We all had a lot of fun shooting the video a few weeks ago. The smiles on everyone's faces in the behind-the-scenes pictures give us away. Our partner, Messer Cutting Systems Europe, visited us in Erndtebrück with a small team and the cameraman. The aim of the visit was to showcase the successfully implemented oxy-fuel cutting technology with hydrogen. Some of our employees were also in front of the camera. Thanks to great preparation and fantastic teamwork on site, all the material was filmed in just one day. The final video will be released shortly. We celebrate International Coffee Day by reducing our waste at EEW PPE! ☕ 🌍 Last year at EEW PPE in Erndtebrück, around 10,000 disposable plastic cups were thrown away. These single-use cups were used in the production area's coffee machines, but as part of a broader commitment to sustainability, they have been replaced with an eco-friendlier alternative. Every EEW employee received a reusable stainless-steel coffee cup as a gift! This durable cup with a lid is perfect for keeping beverages warm, clean, and easy to transport. ✅ “The initiative was welcomed and well received by the workforce. We gave out a large number of cups to our colleagues.”, says the local Workers Council. Technical exchange with colleagues from our production plant in EEW Korea 👷♂️ 💡 Members of our German Production and Technology teams recently visited our pipe plant in Sacheon, South Korea, which has been operational for over 20 years and has continuously developed its processes with a strong lean approach. 💡 "This was a great opportunity to engage in practical discussions on process innovation, where we could showcase our latest production developments. We are grateful for the strong connection between our teams," says D.H. Kim, Managing Director at EEW Korea. His colleague, Dr. Kwan-Gyu (Alex) Tak., Managing Director at EEW Korea, adds, "Furthermore, we are excited to continue this productive exchange in the future." ✅ The visit not only included discussions around the table, but also several on-site experiences on the production floor, where there was a focus on process optimization through GAP analysis and CLAD technology workshops. All in all, this trip once again demonstrated the importance of a continuous exchange between our different production and technology teams. We express our gratitude to our Korean colleagues for the outstanding organization of the workshops and for their warm and generous hospitality throughout the visit. 🙌

The event offered deep insights into the processing, storage, and transportation of hydrogen, giving us a better understanding of our clients' needs and technical challenges. ✅ ROG.e 2024 in Rio, Brazil’s most prominent oil and gas event. The team together with our local representative, Chris Legrand spent a day full of interesting discussions and meetings highlighting offshore deep-water developments, where EEW aims to support local fabricators, EPCs, and manufacturers. The event was filled with valuable interactions that will help shape the future of energy in Brazil and beyond.
