Evonik India is happy to be a part of India Chem 2024 event held in Mumbai this week organized by the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, jointly with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). The event was graced by the Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare and Chemical & Fertilizers - Shri. J. P. Nadda, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat - Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh - Dr. Mohan Yadav, and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Orissa - Shri Mohan Charan Majhi. Member of the Extended Executive Board of Evonik Industries AG; President Asia Pacific - Dr. Claus Rettig, was invited as the global keynote speaker at today's inaugural session. In his speech, Dr. Rettig mentioned that India is a key & strategic market for Evonik. India’s vision of Net Zero by 2070 and a developed economy by 2047 will further act as the motivation for strong and sustainable economic growth for the coming decades and driving strong demand for chemicals. India Chem is a 3-day event which started on 17th October.
