Today, we had the pleasure to welcome Mona Neubaur, Minister for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy of the German state of North Rhine-Westfalia, to our headquarters in Lippstadt.   We did not only focus on our innovative technologies, showing our Child Presence Detection solution and highlights of our headlamp business, but together with our CHRO, Stefanie Rheker, we also discussed the current challenges in our industry. Our interior lighting expertise creates the perfect ambiance for any of these situations. One key-factor for a superb interior experience: our new-generation 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀. They combine a variety of different functions in the context of lighting and beyond. ☑️ 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 At the heart of our overhead console is the main cabin light in combination with the ambient halo light on top, which are both animated, dimmable, and also adjustable in colour temperature. With this smart interior lighting we are able to deliver exactly the right lighting atmosphere for any given situation and preference. ☑️ 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 Apart from the main lighting functions, another technological highlight are the adaptive and tunable spotlights. But what does that mean? The spotlights actively recognise your seating position, for example, while reading and automatically follow when you change it. Just as with the main cabin lighting, the spotlights are also fully adjustable to the passengers liking. ☑️ 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗖𝗔𝗠 At #FORVIAHELLA we are not only committed to deliver excellent atmosphere and seamless functionalities with our interior lighting, but as well utilise our products as platforms for further technology. A great example is the in the overhead console integrated CabinCAM which is able to monitor the whole interior of the vehicle and thus compensate for the sensors currently required, for example, for the seatbelt monitoring. In addition to replacing already existing functions, the system can act as a smart supervisor by notifying the driver when he is inattentive and a critical situation occurs on the road, or children are climbing around on the backseats.
