One builds what's next. The other makes what exists last longer. Julie works toward decarbonized mobility through hydrogen storage. Fabian extends the life of vehicle lighting and electronics. Different roles, same mission: driving FORVIA’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. With a background in mechanical engineering, Julie joined our Hydrogen activity two years ago and trained at our H2 School. She uses simulations to design hydrogen storage systems that meet strict safety and environmental standards. Fabian focuses on extending the lifespan of vehicle lighting and electronics, creating solutions tailored to the needs of agricultural, construction, and truck manufacturers. Durable, efficient products, built to last. Both are pushing for real environmental impact, driving our Blue Effect program forward! Dr. Fabian Utermöhlen Julie POUZOULET

FORVIA reposted this
As my last day at FORVIA coincides with the publication of our annual results, it makes sense to start this post by commenting on our performance over the past year. Once again, in 2024, our Group achieved strong results, with sales reaching €27bn, outperforming the worldwide market by 150bps, and an operating margin reaching 5.2% of sales, aligned with our guidance. Also, our net cash flow generation of €655m allowed us to further reduce our debt and continue deleveraging the company. These solid figures demonstrate that our strategy is paying off, even if the financial markets do not seem to recognize it yet. But as I prepare to step down after more than 18 years at FORVIA and almost 9 as CEO, I have been reflecting on what I will remember most about this chapter in my life. The answer is clear: it won’t be the figures. It will be the people. Because it’s the people you spend time with, the people whose ideas drive change, the people with whom you tackle challenges side by side, and the people whose human qualities make everything possible. When I think about what FORVIA (Faurecia at the time) was when I joined the group and what we are now, it fills me with the feeling of a job done. We have evolved from being a commodity supplier to a tech company, from a mainly European organization to a worldwide leader, and from an automotive equipment supplier to a leader in sustainable mobility. Visioning is easy; executing is much more difficult. Making that vision a reality is the result of FORVIA’s teams' hard work. Thank you! It has been an honor for me to lead this company. As I now hand over the keys to Martin, who will bring his energy and expertise to the company, I am confident that your greatest successes are ahead of you. The story continues, and I will always say “we” when speaking about FORVIA. All the best to all of you. Patrick.
