Transforming Battery Technology: Highlights from CARES 3rd North American Forum Last Thursday, at the CARES 3rd North American Forum, Kevin Dahlberg and Michael Coraci from Ascend Elements showcased exciting advancements in battery technology. In our session, “Recycled NCM Cathode Materials Engineered For High-Performance Lithium-Ion Batteries With Low Carbon Footprint,” they covered:  💡 Collaboration Power: A strong partnership between Freudenberg e-Power Systems and Ascend Elements to create sustainable NMC cathode materials for heavy-duty transportation including truck, bus, and maritime.  💡 Scaling Success: Achieved over 60 Ah in recycled mid-nickel NMC pouch cells, proving sustainability can deliver high performance.  💡 Impactful Innovation: Our low-carbon cathode could significantly reduce the carbon footprint of Freudenberg e-Power Systems' batteries.
