OXBO moved this tower from Houston to a gas plant in West Texas using a unique combination of Goldhofer trailers. Utilizing a Goldhofer neck with 8 axles of THP/DC, 8 axles of THP/CA, and two Goldhofer bolster plates OXBO navigated a route almost 850 miles long. All in all, this combination was permitted at 16’ wide, 18’7” tall, 271’ long and 764,000lbs using a total of 23 axle lines, while the load was pulled and pushed using a matched set of custom Western Star trucks. We successfully transported a tugboat measuring 30 meters in length, 16 meters in width, 12 meters in height, and weighing 650 tons, produced in a specialized shipyard in Turkey.
