"Decentralized applications were deliberately excluded from MiCA to develop custom rulesets in time and create space for innovation. This measured approach effectively underlined Europe's claim to leadership in web3. We now see this deliberate choice in danger of being undermined by local regulators setting overly strict criteria for decentralization."
