We're proud to share our recent collaboration with HSV and Plan International Deutschland e.V. for #WorldGirlsDay! 🌟 On October 11th, we joined forces to host an inspiring workshop for nine girls at the Volksparkstadion, providing them with a platform to share their dreams, wishes, and perspectives.  As Juliane Bolk from Plan International states: "It's about giving girls and young women a voice, recognizing their needs and standing up for their rights – not just on World Girls’ Day, but throughout the year.” We're honored to be part of this meaningful collaboration and look forward to future initiatives promoting equal opportunities. How can the international community achieve the #SustainableDevelopmentGoals (SDGs), address global inequality, and combat climate change? These questions were at the forefront of discussions among around 1,600 representatives from 102 countries over the past two days at the Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC). The goal: forge new alliances for concrete progress on sustainability – a cause I am deeply passionate about, and which lies at the heart of our mission at HELM AG. One of my personal highlights was that, despite the scale of the conference, a cooperative and open exchange took place. The spirit of partnership could be felt everywhere. I am convinced that the challenges of this world can only be met through partnerships, as outlined by SDG 17. One key outcome of the conference was the addition of a new strategic member to the Global Battery Alliance: the Serbian Ministry of Economic Affairs, which oversees significant lithium deposits. The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has also joined the alliance. In total, BMZ reported over 15 agreements were made for a sustainable future. The future of shipping with alternative fuels was another prominent topic, with methanol being the primary focus.. The HSC was a success for Hamburg. Many thanks to the organizers, especially the Dr. Michael Otto Stiftung. I look forward to next year!

In cooperation with our partner Plan International Deutschland e.V., we had the honor of presenting our joint partnership with HSV in the #FutureDock loge of Deloitte, today. Together with other partners, Deloitte invites companies to share impulse presentations linked to the #SDGs on each match day. Therefore, Daniel Tepe and Frank Thomsen provided interesting insights, on how the SDGs are linked and how important it is to take joint responsibility. 📌Since July, HELM is new jersey partner at HSV and donates the logo appearance on the sleeve to Plan International for all Bundesliga matches until 2027.
