Celebrating 50 Years of Sella Controls!   August marks the month SELLA CONTROLS | A HIMA Company was founded, this time 50 years ago. Over the next 4 weeks, we will be going back through the decades, remembering pinnacle moments which shaped the Sella Controls we know today. We've dug into the archives to find some pictures, brochures and articles which we will be sharing on LinkedIn over the weeks ahead.   Back in 1974, Sella Controls was founded by Terry Lardner and George Bennett to supply safety control systems into the mining and chemical industry. Lardner and Bennett started working from a small premises in Whaley Bridge, with the help of one or two engineers. The original location was in the cellar of Paddock House in Elnor Lane, Whaley Bridge - hence 'Sella' Controls.    Not long after, following the growth of the company, Sella Controls moved to a location on Market Street, Whaley Bridge where business continued to thrive.   Next week in Sella's story, we will be going back to the 80's.   #safetygoesdigital #smartsafety #himagroup #sellasstory
