    FACES OF HSE - Today with Judith Kemper When did you join HSE and what is your job? I joined HSE in September 2021 as Head of Fulfillment, responsible for the logistics center in Greven. Since my promotion in April 2023, as Director SCM & Fulfillment, I have also been responsible for Procurement Logistics and, since summer 2023, also for the Quality Control department in Greven. In a nutshell: My team is responsible for the entire flow of goods at HSE, from procurement to delivery to the end customer. Name 3 qualities/key words that you think people should have for your job/department? Logistics at HSE moves several million items of goods a year. Here it is particularly important that quality, lead time and costs are adhered to. In this respect, a candidate for SCM & Fulfillment should have at least 3 areas of interest: 1) Enjoy process analysis - Optimizing a small wheel in logistics usually means big savings for the company as a whole. 2) Affinity for figures / cost analyses - We live from data in logistics, interpreting it correctly, drawing the necessary conclusions and making decisions based on this is the core activity of my colleagues in the team. 3) Personal Touch - There are no hierarchies in the SCM & Fulfillment team. We help each other in day-to-day business and everyone contributes their own personal ideas. We benefit from the diversity in the team and the different perspectives on a topic. It's all about being open and having fun contributing to the team. What makes HSE an attractive employer for you? My team finds the flexibility of the working day particularly appealing. This is not usual in the market, especially in logistics. Of course, we also have peak phases during which we have an “all-hands-on-deck” mentality as a team. But especially during off-season periods, we offer our colleagues the best possible flexibility in the form of flexitime arrangements and home office days, as well as regular overtime reduction in the form of flexitime days (also used by the team for extended weekends 😉). HSE offers the most entertaining form of shopping - how do you and your department contribute directly or indirectly to this shopping experience? The SCM & Fulfillment team is responsible for the customer experience when receiving parcels. Timely delivery and the high-quality appearance of the parcel when it is opened are essential for us, so that our customers are happy to order from HSE again and again. #team #job #wearehiring

    🏅 HSE named one of Germany’s best online shops in 2024   We are very happy to have been recognised as one of ‘Germany's best online shops’ for the 10th time in a row. The large representative consumer survey conducted by the DISQ Deutsches Institut für Service-Qualität GmbH & Co. KG and ntvNachrichten took a close look at customer satisfaction with online shops and analysed over 77,000 customer opinions: HSE is once again among the top three in the generalist category (without a branch network) alongside Amazon and Otto.de.   An online panel was used to survey customer satisfaction in the areas of value for money, product range, customer service, website/app, order and payment terms as well as shipping and returns. Important details, such as product quality and variety, advisory expertise on the phone, by email and chat, payment options and delivery options, shipping costs and speed, and returns processing were taken into account. Customers' willingness to recommend the company to others was also factored into the overall result. Together with food creator Bernd Zehner, we have created real enthusiasm among subscribers through authentic storytelling and high-quality videos – from cinematic city guides, informative mini-documentaries to delicious recipes. In any case, you should be enthusiastic about the speed of our agile business model, enjoy working with planning, editing and playout programmes and an incentive to offer our customers the perfect shopping experience every day. At all times, on all channels! What makes HSE an attractive employer for you? Since I joined, HSE has ‘reinvented’ itself many times! Every time needs its own strategies and orientations....and I can be a part of it, that's what drives me! I am also very happy to be able to work with a fantastic team of great people. Video content management is primarily concerned with the content of TV shows, which are shown as summaries at ‘non-live’ times.
