🔍 Innovative inspection of flexible Risers in the J-Tube of flexible Riser Hangoff To inspect the flexible riser inside the J-Tube we have developed advanced manipulator systems and sensors that can navigate through the small 80 mm access holes of Riser-Hangoff flanges. These access points are normally used for the nitrogen inlet. Thanks to these new technologies, potential defects in the tension armour wire of the flexible riser pipes can be efficiently detected. Now that you have seen the results of our tool, we would like to show you how our innovative cleaning tool looks and works. It has been specially designed for cleaning pipes and flexible risers, suitable for diameters from 150mm to 300mm OD. It efficiently removes stubborn deposits such as mussels and barnacles as well as softer deposits such as algae and plants from materials such as PE, PU, neoprene and steel. Our tool works with a manual hydraulic pump and an integrated failsafe mechanism that enables safe recovery in the event of a loss of pressure. We are very happy to welcome Olaf Müller as technical writer at InnetiQs! 🎉 He studied Civil Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe and started his professional journey in 2001 at Pipetronix/Baker Hughes. There he initially worked in data analysis before moving to Integrity Services. Over the past 12 years, he has gained valuable experience in the development department at Baker Hughes and further deepened his expertise. Following the closure of Baker Hughes' site in Stutensee, Olaf joined our team at InnetiQs in July and will be focussing on technical documentation.
