🔄 Towards Circularity (Primary) raw materials are becoming increasingly scarce. Their extraction and processing place an excessive burden on the earth through poor waste valorization, greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity loss, and exorbitant water consumption. Creating a more circular economy is the foundation for countering these issues. Recycled and biogenic materials, prolonged product lifespans, and valorizing and repurposing are key. Our VP of Technology & Strain Engineering, Luisa Gronenberg, will be speaking at the joint symposium on June 24 to 25, 2024, which from two funding programs: ‘Circularity with recycled and biogenic resources’ by the VolkswagenStiftung, and the ‘Circular Biomanufacturing’ Challenge by the SPRIND - Bundesagentur für Sprunginnovationen federal agency. 👉 Find out more about the symposium here: https://lnkd.in/eAxk8KXv #synbio #biotech #innovation #futureofsustainability #bioengineering #biodesign #regenerative #insempra #sustainability #circular #biofabrication #climatetech #personalcare #beauty #biodesign #biotechbeauty #bioeconomy #futurebeauty #deeptech #biomaterials
