Over the years, INVENSITY has proudly sponsored BCN eMotorsport, providing the team with specialized training and coaching sessions on leadership, project management, systems engineering, problem-solving, and more. The Formula Student team from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona is well-known for designing and producing electric autonomous and driverless vehicles. In Formula E competitions, their success hinges not only on cutting-edge innovation and engineering, but also on efficient teamwork. This year, Leadership Expert Daniel Pfeifer and Technology Consultant Tove Josefsson have provided invaluable training in leadership and project management, respectively. Jordi Cunillera Reinal, who leads the Formula Student team, shares his insights about the training sessions with INVENSITY: “We have greatly benefited from the training by applying efficient problem-solving techniques to tackle daily challenges. A significant advantage of the project management training has been the integration of KPI systems to measure our objectives. Meanwhile, the leadership session has equipped the team with the values and skills necessary to excel as leaders in a collaborative project." This season, the team introduces the CAT16x, the third single-seater of Generation X. This model can be operated both autonomously and with a driver, showcasing the natural evolution of its predecessor while incorporating substantial improvements. The Formula Student team's competition season is underway, and the CAT16x will compete at the following events: 🏁 Red Bull Ring in Austria (July 21-25) 🏁 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain (August 1-7) 🏁 Hockenheimring in Germany (August 12-18) If your organization is also interested in trainings sessions on social skills or technical topics, get in touch with us or Daniel Pfeifer directly. With rising customer expectations and the need to implement more features, how can agile product development meet the demands of hardware developers working on complex products like cars? In our article published on our website and in projektmagazin, Project Management Expert Mayanga Ngoy discusses agile project development, its numerous advantages, its challenges in the context of hardware, and the strategies for defining agile increments in a project. He also provides insights into effectively implementing agile in a hardware environment, including identifying the appropriate stakeholders based on the type of physical products being developed. By working in sprints or iterations, development teams can produce increments or concrete progress. This allows them to implement customer feedback early, adapt to changing requirements or market conditions, and ultimately create a higher-quality product. For more on this topic, read our article on our website and projektmagazin (links in comments). 🤝 There are no winners or losers in principled negotiations, only successful outcomes! On June 13, our colleague André Weismüller successfully conducted a workshop at the Munich University of Applied Sciences for HOKO Weeks 2024. In his workshop, he discussed and provided practical insights on the Harvard concept of Negotiation – a negotiation approach that focuses on interests rather than positions. Thank you to HOKO® - HOCHSCHULKONTAKTMESSE for having us conduct this workshop. We were thrilled to impart knowledge on students, helping them level up their negotiation skills for university, work, and their personal life. If you were unable to attend but are still interested in meeting us or learning more about a career as a technology consultant, visit our career website (link in the comments) and get in touch with us! #career #workshop #inspiration #leadership #negotiation

On June 27 at 10:00-11:00 AM German time, we will be hosting a webinar on integrating cybersecurity into the ASPICE® framework. The event is free of charge and will be conducted in German. In this webinar, our Head of Process Transformation Gabriel Krämer and Head of Cybersecurity Shaghayegh Fereidoonipour will discuss the critical role of cybersecurity in automotive systems and software development. They will explain how ASPICE® enhances security protocols and provide practical examples of cybersecurity's impact on quality and compliance. At the end of the discussion, participants can ask questions to our cybersecurity and ASPICE® experts. As vehicles become more connected and their software systems more complex, their vulnerability to errors and cyberthreats increases. Because of this, the intersection of cybersecurity and automotive software standards, like ISO 21434, are significant in resolving this issue. To register for the event, check out the link in the comments section. You may also approach Gabriel Krämer for more details. #technology #innovation #automotive #ASPICE #cybersecurity

When we think of the world as one huge puzzle, we see ourselves as individual puzzle pieces – unique yet part of something greater. And just like a puzzle piece, we can observe how different we are when we take a closer look. Our education, gender, culture, age, and experiences are facets that shape our distinct identities and our interactions with others. But what if we’re still in the process of discovering ourselves? And how do we make the most out of our unique traits? When reflecting on who you are and where you want to go, it's crucial to start with your goals, whether they’re short-term or long-term. Think about your values, strengths, potentials, and how you work. Because by understanding these aspects of yourself, you'll gain a clearer picture of your unique identity and how you can best contribute to the world. At INVENSITY, embracing uniqueness is a fundamental part of working together in teams. With every talent recognized as an expert in their field, bringing them together for projects allows them to reach their full potential. Not only do they gain greater self-awareness from this kind of collaboration, but they also grow to genuinely appreciate their colleagues and what they bring to the table. Artificial intelligence (AI)’s automation of tedious tasks leaves greater room for project management (PM) to become more efficient and provide higher-quality output. Our experience with our client projects shows that AI can already save 38% of project management costs, freeing up around 15 hours of a project manager’s work week.  With this kind of time and cost savings, more efforts can be directed towards better project implementation, guaranteeing a project’s success. But how can project managers achieve this kind of efficiency with AI? In our latest article, Technology Consultant and Project Manager Johannes Behne details the different approaches to introduce AI in companies and the step-by-step process of using an AI language model in project management. To better understand what the article covers, here’s Johannes explaining the first steps to embed proven AI language models into the company infrastructure: “The first important step in the targeted use of an AI language model in project management is to provide the required data for the corresponding use case. In many cases, this is done using machine-readable information from PM tools or documents. For example, effort data in hours from a ticket system or cost data from a spreadsheet. Input from the project manager, such as information on the project for creating a schedule, is also possible.”  To learn more about the topic, check out our article (link in comments) or approach our Project Management Expert Marc Bollmann. #technology #innovation #ai #artificialintelligence #projectmanagement

📣 Calling all STEM students from Germany on the job hunt – it’s time to level up your negotiation strategies! On June 13 at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, we’ll be attending HOKO Weeks 2024. Hosted by HOKO® - HOCHSCHULKONTAKTMESSE, the networking event offers students the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge from workshops and lectures, as well as connect with industry-leading companies. From 4-8pm, our colleague André Weismüller will conduct a workshop on the Harvard concept of Negotiation, which focuses on stakeholder interests instead of positions. If you’re looking to get better at negotiating for situations like a thesis defense, work promotion, or a personal matter, André will offer key insights to help you master the art of win-win trading. To give you a sneak peek, here’s one piece of advice from our upcoming Negotiations workshop: 💡 When you’re negotiating with another party, center your arguments on your coinciding interests rather than your positions. Even if you hold a lower status, such as student or trainee, you likely have leverage that benefits the other party. This could include possessing specific skills or knowledge that significantly ease their workload. To register for the event, check out the link in the comments section. You may also approach André Weismüller directly. #career #workshop #inspiration #leadership #negotiation
