It's such an exciting time to be working in product design right now, with so many AI-first companies and existing market leaders solving interesting and important problems with massive potential. I feel very lucky to be working with a handful of them! - Strava are layering AI on top of their wildly successful app in the form of Athlete Intelligence. Expect more AI powered goodness to come. - Grab, the biggest superapp in SE Asia, have announced an exciting partnership with OpenAI to turbocharge their mapping. - askLAYLA are using the potential of AI to redefine the customer funnel of travel, this is an area close to my heart after spending years working on Google Maps and I'm excited to work more deeply with them in the future. - Cogna are working on hyper-customised software built by AI, bringing software to a hugely underserved segment of the market, and it reminds me of early work building the Oculus operating system. - Rex are using AI to power highly personalised local recommendations, and we are exploring themes of trust and the balance of human vs machine input. - Robin are building a personal AI Powered mental wellness coach, we're exploring different personalities and interaction models for an AI assistant. - Mettle are building a live AI mens mental fitness coach to complement the pre-recorded sessions offered by Bear Grylls and other celebrities. - RunWhen are building an AI assistant for automated software troubleshooting, saving hours of work and putting consumer grade user experience on an enterprise setting.
