Sometimes you just need a “little more space” for your cargo?! We will be delighted to arrange for an ocean vessel full charter. Like for this intra-Asia feeder #shipment of two cranes of which we took care for our customer SENNEBOGEN.     Both cranes were shipped Ro/Ro from Germany. After arrival at an Asian main port, they needed transloading and feeder service to reach their final destination on Tarakan island, Indonesia.     Some more key facts:  The shipment totaled 51 units with almost 900FRT and single units measured up to almost 18 meters lengths and had piece weights of up to 37 tons.     Upon arrival of the cargo at its final port of discharge, we had also organized the unloading and positioning of all components at the consignee’s terminal.     #karlgross #projectlogistics #projectcargo #oceanfreight #freightforwarding #Asia #breakbulk

Off to Brazil – on-site with the cargo: Our colleague Marion Ranaudo lately witnessed the packing of high precision grinding #machinery entrusted to our care for #shipping from Germany to Brazil.   We took care of organizing the entire #transport chain: ✔ pick-up at the manufacturer’s premises in Southern Germany  ✔ pre-carriage to the North for stowage of the oversize crates on flat racks ✔ organizing of ocean freight shipping on a #container vessel ✔ unpacking of #cargo for conventional on-carriage to consignee’s site   By the way: did you know that organizing door-to-door freight traffic to Brazil has long been a focus of Karl Gross – be it for containerized cargo or oversize and/or overweight cargo units?!  We ✔ know the processes – also regarding customs procedures ✔ have strong local partners ✔ know the mentality and ✔ have multilingual team members to facilitate communication flows   Our experience on this tradelane shows: more often than not, it’s the details that make the difference – and we will be delighted to discuss yours.
