Precision. Planning. Partnership. Our recent transport of a Gas Turbine, with a unit weight of 388 metric tons, from a specially constructed landing facility in Kędzierzyn-Koźle to the CCGT Rybnik Power Plant, was a true test of coordination and expertise. Besides the road freight transportation, the journey involved carefully discharging the Gas Turbine from an inland river vessel to an SPTM (Self-Propelled Modular Transporter) and shifting the Gas Turbine from quay to an intermediate storage area dedicated to the customer and the project. Managing such an operation means anticipating challenges way before they arise and ensuring that every movement is carried out with precision. A huge shoutout to the entire team who made this happen. But the journey doesn’t end here. Our team mastered another challenge on this project's journey. On March 7th, DB Schenker Technology Solution Center (TSC) Nanjing celebrated Employee Appreciation Day with heartfelt gestures. We always believe that true appreciation thrives in simplicity, such as a warm meal, a handwritten note, or the quiet assurance of “We see you, and we appreciate you.”   The management team kicked off the day by delivering breakfast boxes to employees, turning ordinary mornings into moments of connection. A “Workplace Warm Moments” gratitude wall blossomed with heartfelt messages like, “Your ‘I trust you’ got me through tough times,” highlighting the profound impact of everyday kindness.   The event’s photo wall captured laughter and embraces—timeless snapshots of a culture where appreciation drives collective momentum. As General Manager of TSC Nanjing Jason (Ning) Hua shared, “The best corporate culture turns ‘thank you’ into a daily ritual, not just a yearly event.”   Looking ahead, we will expand gratitude initiatives, from uplifting words in daily interactions to small acts of support. Together, we’re building a workplace where appreciation is woven into every moment.

Our celebration fused creativity and tech inspiration: colleagues received scented gift bags infused with lavender and citrus—symbolizing the enduring influence of resilience and the fresh vitality of innovation that women bring to the tech world.   A dynamic quiz ignited discussions about trailblazing women in STEM—from pioneers like Ada Lovelace to modern icons like Lisa Su. Winners received bookmarks designed with motifs symbolizing innovation and diversity, encouraging colleagues to explore stories of women in tech and amplify their voices through everyday learning and collaboration.   The event also showcased TSC Nanjing’s WiSTEM initiatives designed to empower women in tech careers. As one participant shared, “Seeing women’s achievements in STEM isn’t just inspiring—it’s a call to action.”   We’re doubling down on building an inclusive future where women thrive in tech.
