How can a product be protected with OVJERA? 🔒 The cream from the pharmaceutical company OLUNA has a wooden lid, which offers a unique way of protecting the product using Ovjera technology. Before packaging and shipping, a camera is installed at the end of the production chain that takes a photo of the top of each lid. Since wood is a natural product, each lid differs in grain and color. Ovjera takes advantage of this natural individuality. The “Entropy Essence” of the surfaces is stored in a database. The end user can scan the surface of the lid using a smartphone and compare the “Entropy Essence” of the scan with the information stored in the database. If the characteristic features of the scanned image match those in the database, the authenticity of the product is confirmed. But Ovjera is not dependent on the obvious deviations that wood has.
