At the Ramah Water Factory in Saudi Arabia, several KUKA robots work efficiently "arm in arm" to sort, bundle and palletize water bottles - based on the solution from MEMCO - at an impressive speed of up to 81,000 bottles per hour! 💧🦾    Two KR 40 PAs carry out the important preliminary work by positioning the water bottles precisely on a conveyor belt. The KR 700 PA, a robot for heavy loads, then takes over, gripping the packaged bottles securely and lifting them onto the pallets. Finally, a KR QUANTEC PA carefully places a carton as an intermediate level to the individual layers.    This state-of-the-art automation solution makes palletizing considerably faster and can be easily controlled by employees at the touch of a button. The speed of the process line at the Ramah Water Factory is among the highest in the entire beverage industry.    Sounds exciting? Our AGILUS robots are designed for ultimate flexibility, precision and the ability to work efficiently in even the tightest spaces. 🦾 Inside a compact, fully automated assembly cell, six AGILUS robots efficiently produce two million pressure valves per year—using just a 6 x 4 meter area. With exceptional speed and precision, they assemble the vent valve from three individual components. “Automation is essential for us to remain competitive as a mid-sized company,” says Christian Benzing, CEO of Hugo Benzing GmbH & Co. KG. In collaboration with Hugo Benzing, we are advancing #automation in #electromobility. Automation in the #construction industry opens doors The immense demand for living space, coupled with a shortage of skilled labour and rising property prices, has had a significant impact on the property industry in recent years. Global tensions and problems with supply chains pose major challenges for the construction industry. Automated modular house construction by #KUKA aims to move the construction site to the factory. Whether wood or steel, in future robots will support the workers in building the houses, reducing construction time and costs while optimising logistics. By maintaining the highest quality standards, production in the factory is more resource-efficient and, above all, independent of weather conditions. But houses from the assembly line do not mean that all houses are the same and impersonal. Modular construction means that homes can be customised to meet the wishes of customers and different building regulations. High-quality ladder frames at Gestamp thanks to #KUKA Bielefeld-based forming and chassis specialist #Gestamp produces ladder frames for the VW plant in Hanover thanks to a gas-shielded welding system from #KUKA. The ladder frame as the centrepiece between the body and chassis guarantees the necessary stability that the #VW Amarok needs to ensure safe off-road driving. This requires the installation of well over 200 individual steel parts. The tight deadline and space restrictions also posed challenges during planning. The system expertise of KUKA enabled Gestamp to cope with the increasing demand for the VW Amarok while ensuring the highest product quality. This is now achieved with the help of 14 largely standardised welding stations, each with a component insertion station and two fixtures to produce the sub-assemblies of the ladder frame. - Professional #project management with creative solutions from KUKA ensured the optimum #solution for Gestamp.
