Our CPO Rainer Gibbert went promptUX Conference! So much #UX inspiration that will shape our LeanScope AI product journey 🎒 Plus: it was a pleasure to be one of the AI-X-Awards Nominees.
Back from the promptUX Conference in Hamburg, my mind is racing with innovative ideas and inspiration! 💡 The event was packed with thought-provoking talks on how #AI is shaping our future, helping us build better products, enhancing #UXDesign, and even turning us into #Makers, not just designers. Here’s a quick recap of some standout sessions: * Sofie Hvitved shared a visionary outlook on AI and the potential of hyper-personalized content. * Yuval Keshtcher ✍ showed us how non-developers can design and build applications with AI support. * Vitaly Friedman presented brilliant AI & UX Design Patterns for creating better AI interfaces. * Şeyda Ülgen gave insights into her work at Zalando, designing a GPT-powered shopping assistant. * Matthias Tschümperlin introduced the UX Research Repository Tool developed at Roche (reminds me of what we’re building with LeanScope AI!). * Bruno Recht explored automating user research at scale with their AI-powered research companion (still a bit skeptical about this one, though!). Beyond the sessions, I had the pleasure of meeting incredible people from across Europe (and beyond), like Hela Ammar, Şeyda Ülgen, Juan Oliveira, Ana Parada, Dimitris Sarantidis, Sarah Lendaro and Rogier Jansen. Thank you Modulr.Design GmbH for hosting tonight’s #impulse gathering as part of the Hatch Conference mixers - representing Hamburg. Great insights and conversations around ‘AI meets UXR’ - what an interesting space to explore, test and learn in right now. Thank you Curie Kure and Rainer Gibbert for your insights, and Thomas Latus for inviting me to this event. My key takeaways were: 🤖 There are lots of interesting use cases for AI in user research to explore and test right now. 👀 it’s definitely a space to watch and some cool products like LeanScope AI are in the making and ready to shake things up 🦸 but those opportunities still require trained user researchers to evaluate context, set up studies in a meaningful way and ensure findings are shared inside organizations. 🦄 the real magic happens when combining the speed of AI with the power of human story telling and ensuring insights have relevance. And on the topic of bias that also came up / It’s about realising that humans have bias too (and in a brilliant example Rainer Gibbert shared: it’s also possible to use bias to our advantage, eg when training models with a sustainability bias to come up with better ideas/product solutions).
