🚀 LGBS FemGems: Kick-off of Leadership Discovery Journey 🚀 On January 16th, 19 LGBS ladies from ten locations started their leadership discovery journey. Our managing director Jörg Neumann and our Head of HR, Compliance and Strategy, Anna Parbel, welcomed the ladies with an inspiring and motivating start into the session, also emphasizing the importance of female leadership for not only LGBS, but also the entire Lufthansa Group. Over the next six months, the FemGems will explore three modules: "Path to Leadership," "When Times Get Tough," and "Life in a Team," with guidance from female LGBS mentors. They will also learn from diverse Lufthansa Group leaders in joint sessions. Here’s a closer look at some of their 2024 achievements:   🌟 HR Highlights:  The HR team launched the Global HR Policy, were involved in the system change of Lufthansa's recruiting platform, and handled a high three-digit-amount of applications! Also, we scored the best in 5 out of 7 categories compared to our Group companies within involveme!, our employee survey.   🏆 Governance Achievements Governance updated the Golden Rules for Matrix Managers and introduced the Matrix Manager Function in SuccessFactors. They also rolled out global systems for Compliance, IT Security, and Data Protection, ensuring operational security.    🎯 Communication & Strategic advancements Communication saw a boost with the eBase platform ReFresh and the expansion of Let’s Talk webcasts, reaching over 1,000 employees.
