    CLEARLY STYLISH: MARC O'POLO EYEWEAR DAY One week ago, we had a fantastic Eyewear Day, organised by our Licensing team in collaboration with our licensing partner Eschenbach Optik and the great team from Optique Rosenheim. Our employees had the unique opportunity to explore and try on a variety of Marc O'Polo eyewear models and receive expert advice. Those who found their favourite model were even able to order it directly on site. The response was overwhelming and we are delighted with the lively participation of our colleagues. A huge thank you to Eschenbach Optik GmbH and Optique Rosenheim for their support and commitment, which made this day a complete success.     STRENGTHENING THE COMMITMENT TO ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT Marc O'Polo is taking a significant step to further expand on its environmental sustainability strategy and minimise its environmental impact with regard to the use of harmful chemicals. We are strengthening our commitment to the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme, a multi-stakeholder initiative with over 320 signatory companies from the textile, apparel and footwear industries. Marc O'Polo is now a ZDHC Signatory Brand. This is an important addition to the brand’s existing membership in Cascale, a global alliance committed to more equitable and restorative business practices.     STARTING A NEW JOURNEY TOGETHER.   We're excited to welcome our newest apprentices and dual students to the Marc O’Polo team! Their onboarding started with our intake program last week. This included a campus tour, various presentations as well as fun teambuilding activities accompanied by our HR Team - especially our manager job education. The highlight of the week was the teamday spent at our mountainlodge, where everyone enjoyed the sunshine and strengthened their bonds. We are excited about the journey ahead and look forward to many more memorable moments together. #marcopolo

    GOOSE BUMPS ON CAMPUS Exclusive insights: Just before the launch, CEO Maximilian Böck and CPO Susanne Schwenger presented the new campaign with our two testimonials Gisele Bündchen and Toni Kroos exclusively to our employees. Just like in the cinema, there was popcorn and lots of excitement when they unveiled the campaign material and many emotional moments when Susanne gave insights into the shootings. Goose bumps were the order of the day when the oversized facade banners with the photos of Gisele and Toni were unveiled with a countdown on the Marc O'Polo Campus. Reason enough to get together on the roof terrace of our House of Product on a warm summer evening. #marcopolo

    WITH HEART AND HAND: VOLUNTEERING AT MARC O'POLO PART 2   Dive into the second part of our blog post series in which we shine a spotlight on the inspiring volunteer work of our employees. Find out how our colleagues at Marc O'Polo use their time and skills to make a positive difference. Alex K. and Alex B. are not only colleagues at Marc O'Polo, but also a well-rehearsed team at the THW, where they work together in the water damage and pumping specialist group. They experience exciting and challenging missions. Katharina, who used to sing in the youth choir herself, now leads it with a great deal of passion. Her work includes not only rehearsals, but also the organization of various performances. The children's enthusiasm and the positive feedback from the audience are the greatest reward for her.     SAILING, TENNIS AND A CHIEMSEE-ADVENTURE FOR OUR MARC O’POLO KIDS Once again this year, our HR Team put together a varied and exciting children's holiday programme for our MARC O'POLO youngsters. A total of 48 children were able to take part in the various activities. The one-week sailing course on our beautiful Simssee lake, where the young sailors were able to gain their first experience on the water, was particularly popular. The one-week tennis course, which was rounded off with a daily lunch at MO'P BistrO', was also a great success. Another highlight was the three-day Chiemsee adventure, which took the children into nature with exciting outdoor activities. We would like to thank everyone involved for making this programme possible and are already looking forward to putting together another varied holiday programme for our MARC O'POLO kids next year.
