We are excited to officially announce the launch of the "Access to Health" initiative at the World Stroke Congress! This collaboration with the World Stroke Organization is dedicated to reducing the burden of stroke in underserved communities across Sub-Saharan Africa, starting with Nigeria and Tanzania. Stroke in sub-Saharan Africa is projected to increase dramatically, with an annual incidence rate of 316 cases per 100,000 people and a 3-year mortality rate of over 80%. We're excited to present our latest publication in collaboration with the Toxnet group, which focuses on the differences between adjunctive and multimodal therapies in spasticity management. This paper provides an evidence-based review of these therapeutic approaches and offers key clinical insights for selecting the appropriate therapies for patient care. This resource helps provide a more comprehensive training program and will complement the Toxnet curriculum and the GO-FAST app to better equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge they need.
