Industrial gas turbines play an important role in this and support the energy transition in several key aspects. We support our valuable customers with a state-of-the-art HIP – Hot Isostatic Pressing technology to ensure that the IGT components fulfil their tasks in a very demanding application. Hot Isostatic Pressing for a better life! We at OWL are your trusted partner for state-of-the-art HOT ISOSTATIC PRESSING of medical implants. By using Hot Isostatic Pressing we improve the quality of life of medical implants. We utilise state-of-the-art technologies and work closely with our valuable customers to ensure that each implant meets the highest quality and safety standards. Tight tolerances are often requested when processing a medical implant since they are very desirable for quality control, considering mechanical and dimensional tolerances, as well as time or resource savings. However, before defining the desired tolerances or ranges within which the equipment should work, it is important to understand what are the limitations of it and which physical mechanisms will happen during the process that cannot be controlled. The main process parameters of hot isostatic pressing are the temperature, pressure and the dwell time. Besides that, heating and cooling rates can play an important role in the material or part properties, depending on the rates’ order of magnitude. Our goal is to deliver on time quality as a service provider for Hot Isostatic Pressing to our valuable customers within the medical implant industry.
