📦 How do you transport a valuable racing horse, or a fragile LED light bulb component across 10.000 kilometers without them getting lost, damaged, or misplaced? During our annual planeground SUMMER CAMP, we visited two very special cargo sites at Liege Airport, Belgium - one of the leading European cargo hubs. 🐎📦 Here was the Cainiao Group Liege eHub (Alibaba’s European Logistics Centre) and the well-appointed Liège Airport Horse Inn. It was fascinating to see how absolute customer centricity and uncompromising business orientation determine the processes and infrastructure at two such different air cargo institutions. 😎 This annual, much-anticipated custom of our Summer Camp is to spend time together as colleagues, combining a fun time, reflecting on the past year and upcoming exciting challenges. It’s also important to recalibrate and reflect on how best to develop as a small but growing and dynamic team... And as I learned today at the Connecting Europe Days in Brussels, one essential element towards this goal is to  „…explore new (interconnected) network strategies among airlines and airports to capitalize on the potential of new aircraft propulsion technologies.“ --> I couldn’t agree more! In vista delle 100 candeline che spegnerà tra due anni, l'aeroporto di Salerno Costa d'Amalfi si sta completamente rinnovando. Il progetto, attualmente in corso, è stato affidato a Deerns Italia che ha vinto la gara d'appalto nel gennaio 2022 e che sta realizzando "Un paesaggio nel paesaggio" al fianco di ATELIER(S) ALFONSO FEMIA, od'a officina d'architettura, planeground airport consulting, Techproject S.r.l. e Sun Flower Engineering.
