This weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting a gravel groupride from the Rose store in Berlin, joined by Laura Lindemann and local guides Nis and Linus. Together, we explored the beautiful autumn landscapes of Brandenburg, enjoying the season’s colors and the joy of riding as a community. Back at the store, we wrapped up with coffee, pizza, and a celebration of shared experiences on the bike. A big thank you to everyone who joined us!

This past weekend, the exclusive TestFest took place at the Zeche Ewald in Herten – and it was a huge success! Every gravel, road, e-bike, and MTB we brought was thoroughly tested.   The event stood out with a full schedule of test rides, exciting ride-outs, and great exchanges about all things cycling. Thank you to our special guests, including Jule Radelt, Nico Schlebes and the ROSE Racing Circle, for leading the guided tours.   Looking forward to the next TestFest in Solingen this weekend!

At Rose Bikes, our employees don't just work with bikes – they live and breathe cycling. We're incredibly proud to announce that our colleague, Sarah Kustos, competed in the Transalp 2024 as a solo rider and finished with an impressive 3rd place overall! The race spanned 7 challenging stages, covering a total distance of 788 kilometers with a staggering 16,600 meters of elevation gain. Sarah conquered 15 mountain passes, with her personal highlight being the Monte Grappa, following the trails of this year's Giro. Over the course of the race, she achieved three 3rd place finishes in individual stages, leading to her remarkable 3rd place in the overall ranking. She was one of nearly 500 participants, including both solo riders and teams (Men, Women, Mixed). Sarah’s dedication and outstanding performance embody the spirit of Rose Bikes. Her journey reflects the same perseverance, passion, and relentless pursuit of excellence that we strive for in our products and services every day. Congratulations, Sarah, on this incredible achievement!

We are the first German company in the biking industry and the second overall to receive the "Save Our Returns" seal, which underscores our commitment to responsible practices.   The best return is the one that never happens. In 2021, Germany saw a staggering 530 million packages returned – a record mainly due to the absence of fees and extended return periods. Yet behind these figures lie significant resource losses and environmental impacts. At ROSE, we strive to minimize returns by providing our customers with comprehensive size charts and ensuring they receive the right products.   We've established a meticulous process for returning items. Our staff carefully inspects and evaluates each product before repackaging it, potentially as B-grade items, for resale. Rose Bikes proudly participated in the second Shift Cycling Culture #BARCAMP two weeks ago. With 60 environmental enthusiasts and cycling experts convening from around the globe, the event kicked off with a scenic ride around Koblenz, setting the stage for engaging discussions.   Across 44 sessions in 4 rooms, topics ranged from assessing climate and biodiversity risks to urban mining and change management. But beyond the discussions, it was about a shared mission: accelerating collective action to advance the sustainability agenda of the cycling industry.   We thank Canyon for hosting and all participants for bringing their expertise, ideas, and passion. The energy, connections, and inspiration generated at the event propel us to commit to a more sustainable cycling world. Stay tuned for the exciting developments ahead!
