Eco-Friendly and compostable packaging 💚 No problem with air cushions made from our AIRplus® Bio Home Compostable film! ✔️ The film demonstrates that environmentally conscious packaging is possible by fulfilling the definitions of bioplastic: they are partly bio-based and compostable. The film consists partly of the renewable resource starch. Air cushions made of this organic film boast outstanding packaging characteristics and are ideal for protecting light to medium weight products in boxes during transport. 👌 The film is certified by TÜV Austria for home composting. End consumers can simply dispose of the air cushions alongside organic waste on home compost heaps. The microculture of the compost fully converts the organic film into carbon dioxide, water, and biomass, thus reducing plastic waste by closing the natural cycle. 🌱

What's sustainable and passes the Drop Test Agency test? PELASPAN® BIO is an exceptionally eco-friendly, pourable loose fill padding material. Our PELASPAN® BIO is certified in accordance with NF T51-800 making it home and garden compostable and is made mainly from starch material. Due to their tried-and-tested S-shape, the organic packaging peanuts interlock to create a coherent cushion that blocks, braces, and stabilizes your goods and prevents them from knocking against each other. They’re also odorless, water soluble and attract next to no dust. The benefit of the PELASPAN® BIO packing material is that it automatically fills all the void in a package and as a result keeps your products safe even when exposed to heavy strain. The all-around cushioning consisting of organic packaging peanuts goes into the carton simply and quickly and can be easily integrated into any packing process. SEAclic Box transport solutions are ideal for the shipping of fish and other fresh foods. 🐟🦐🦞 They absorb knocks and ensure that the cold chain remains intact. They also boast a lightweight design and comply with EU food packaging regulations. As well as safety and quality, SEAclic Boxes also offer an environmentally conscious and user-friendly design. Thanks to a click mechanism, they can be securely closed without the need for adhesive or strapping tape. This saves resources and eliminates waste. 👍

Safety comes first when shipping active agents, samples, and chemicals. 🛡️ Not only is it essential to ensure that the transported bottles do not sustain any damage whatsoever, but also to use chemical-resistant packaging in case hazardous materials do leak out. This is where our EPS safety box systems comes in. This material is not only exceptionally lightweight and able to withstand knocks, but is also resistant against a vast array of substances. 👍 On account of its insulating properties, EPS is also ideal for shipping temperature-sensitive hazardous substances. Our customers can choose from our standard range, which comprises 11 systems of different sizes. All our safety boxes have been inspected and approved by the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). ✔️

A few weeks ago, our site in Nully, France organized a family day. A total of 80 adults and 16 children participated. Our employees and their families were able to take part in guided tours through the various areas of administration, production, logistics, maintenance, and sales, giving them an insight into our daily work at Storopack. Our colleagues had an exciting day with their families.

What would you say if a machine could speed up the closing and sealing process of your packed cartons? 📦 AUTO.CLOSE closes the top of the packed carton and reliably seals it using water-activated tape, self-adhesive tape, or hot-melt adhesive. Optionally, the sides and base can also be sealed. As a result, parcels of different sizes can be processed in any random order, without the need for manual intervention. AUTO.CLOSE also lets you choose between different sealing types: U-shaped for standard parcels (with optional pull strip), C-shaped for extremely flat cartons, or T-shaped for the optimum sealing of heavy cases. Also important to point out that water-activated tape is theft- and tamper-proof and that the recipient can dispose of it, together with the box itself, as waste paper. 👍

Did you know that we have been producing foam models for the lost-foam process since 1981? What makes manufacturing castings so challenging is primarily their often filigree and detailed shape. Storopack’s EPS models for lost-foam full-mold casting make it possible to achieve complex casting contours with precision. EPS foam models are embedded in the sand mold and evaporate when they come into contact with the molten metal – the resulting void is filled with the molten metal and so assumes the exact geometry of the model. We support our customers throughout, from development of the models to batch production. Storopack foam models are supplied just in time and certified in accordance with the 9001:2008 standard.
