Studio Soi is looking for a pipeline TD to work on-site in Germany. In the upcoming months, our studio’s size will increase as we are working on a couple of new projects. The most well-known one is "The Amazing World of Gumball". We need a pipeline for about 70-90 people. 2D Key Animators and Cleanup Artists wanted in Germany for The Amazing World of Gumball Studio Soi is setting up a new team of 2D Key Animators and Cleanup  / Inbetween Artists to work on site in Germany on The Amazing World of Gumball. Key Animation We are looking for applicants with experience in character animation. Candidates need a strong sense of timing and are responsible for keeping the look and feel of the series consistent. They are required to hand over scenes in a clear and organized way. On this production you will have the opportunity to animate interactions with 3D characters, objects and sets. Thus, smart planning and communication with other departments will be essential. Ideally, applicants have experience of animating at the fast pace of a TV show. Cleanup / Inbetweening Cleanup Artists on The Amazing World of Gumball provide the final animation, including clean linework, colouring and lip-syncing. We are looking for experienced cleanup artists with an eye for precision, knowledge of animation, and skills in handling scenes in Animate CC efficiently. Software  We will be animating in Animate CC. Candidates should be familiar with it. This can take up to two days and will be scheduled in advance and in agreement with the candidate. Unsure which department is right for you? The Key Animation department is usually a small team of highly skilled and experienced artists providing high quality animation in a limited timeframe. The Cleanup / Inbetweening team is typically a mix of industry veterans and less experienced junior artists. Candidates with an eye for detail and a passion for delivering high quality cleanup drawings can excel here. We are open to considering applicants who apply for both roles. In the past 20 years, our productions have won worldwide acclaim and numerous international awards. Our studio has a long tradition of working with international teams, so knowledge of the German language is not required for the job. General Conditions For both departments we are offering a full-time job (Mo-Fr, 8 hrs / day), for a fixed term of approx.13 months in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
