"The findings show that this new tool delivers bacteriuria results within 15 minutes and antimicrobial susceptibility tests (AST) within 45 minutes, with a sensitivity of 84% and a specificity of 99.4% for bacterial species within analyser specifications, which are common species that cause uncomplicated UTI," said Alonso-Tarrés in a PA-100 announcement.   #AMR #antimicrobialresistance 

𝗦𝘆𝘀𝗺𝗲𝘅 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁-𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 As the summer in Germany comes to an end, there is no better way to wave goodbye to it than getting out in the open air and enjoying fun summer activities together. For #Sysmex, the International Airport Race Hamburg was one such perfect event, where 28 of our runners got together, running through the green spaces around the Hamburg Airport in hot 28⁰C and plenty of sunshine. We are very proud of all the Sysmex team members, who pushed themselves and finished the race with great results. Cherry on the cake - they also brought home two remarkable victories. A huge shout-out to our athletes - Martin Müller and Sarah Niesel, who were the fastest in the 5km race in the men's and women’s category respectively. 🥇 🏆 The day perfectly exemplifies the value of togetherness for our mental and physical health, which we value highly at Sysmex. Engaging in sports together proved not only a boost to physical well-being but also added a lot of fun to the day of our colleagues.
