Another step in the journey to realising rapid, personalised T cell therapies
A few months ago we published our ML tool predicTCR, showing that we could accelerate personalised cancer killing cell therapies by computationally identifying tumor reactive cells in tumor samples. However getting high quality tumor samples is tough. As part of a new collaboration led by Celia Dobersalske in Björn Scheffler's incredible team in Essen Chin Leng Tan has shown that the easier to acquire proximal bone marrow is also a rich source of such tumor-killing T cells. The paper has lots of great details, with important implications also for TIL therapies. Check it out in Nature Medicine now: https://lnkd.in/eyTxqjB3.
