Agricultural machine: Rotational imbalance reduced by 32 percent with pSeven software “As a highly specialised CAE development service provider, we work across sectors and face a whole range of challenges. The pSeven software shows itself to be highly versatile for such work. In one specific agricultural machinery use case, TECOSIM engineers managed to reduce rotational imbalance in a machine’s powertrain by 32 percent. This increases its life cycle and makes working less tiring for the machine operator. Noise emission is also minimised. TECOSIM has been the official pSeven reseller in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since early 2024. pSeven is an independent software developer which has specialised in tools for process integration and design optimisation (PIDO) and in collaborative development environments. TEC|BENCH: 20 years of virtual benchmarking at TECOSIM 🚀   Did you know that, back in 2004, we at TECOSIM launched TEC|BENCH, a method which raised benchmarking to a new level in the automotive industry?   𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁? With virtual benchmarking, we go way beyond conventional benchmarking. We transform hardware data into highly precise CAE models, thus providing analyses at a depth that would otherwise be impossible. This allows us to study aspects of CFD and structural mechanics which cannot be analysed without simulation. Transforming hardware into CAE models provides a direct comparison, leading to the creation of own virtual design geometries. In this way, TECOSIM establishes a new analysis environment and, consequently, a distinctive design framework, thus providing its clients with a decisive competitive advantage.   Since 2022, we have been working closely in this field with A2MAC1 - Decode the future, the market leader in benchmarking in the automotive sector. The European football champions ⚽️ have been crowned for some time now. Due to the holiday season, it has taken us a while to announce the winners of our in-house UEFA Euro sweepstake in Germany: give a round of applause for our colleague Paper_Clip, alias Tom from Hamburg. With precise predictions and excellent expertise 😉, he managed to hit the back of the net and emerged victorious against 28 other participants across Germany.   Congratulations also goes to the runner-up and the third place finisher, Pöhler and Kittie (alias Andreas and Christian). Christian (not in the image) made it onto the podium at the very last moment with the right prediction of the final winner, pushing out the long-time leader, our colleague Souad (alias Sloth) in Stuttgart.   Marion from our HR department congratulated our winner, Tom. Our colleagues Kirstin and Alessa handed over the prizes for second and third place.   Prizes comprised a variety of a small beer pong set, international beers from the countries of the best-placed teams and a selection of savoury snacks, providing everything you need to enjoy match days 😊 .   Obviously, we’d also like to congratulate the Spanish national team on winning the title.   Thanks to all colleagues for participating in the sweepstake.
