We are proud to share the success of our recent volunteer event on Tuesday, September 24th at Oakland HOPE in Pontiac, MI. Members of the thyssenkrupp System Engineering staff gathered together to support this incredible organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and providing essential resources to those in need within the community. We assisted in unloading and sorting food donations, shopping the food pantry for families in need, loading groceries into cars, and even assisting sales on the thrift store floor. We were impressed to see how one organization can provide so much help and support to those in need right in our backyard. We provided groceries to approximately 200 families during our time spent at Oakland HOPE and walked away feeling inspired by how our efforts made a tangible difference in our local community. Die perfekte Gelegenheit, um gemeinsam aktiv zu sein und die Natur zu genießen! Zuvor wurden alle Drahtesel beim Fahrradtechnik-Training auf Schlauch und Ketten geprüft. 🛠️🚲 Danke an unsere Trainer von der BIKEacademy Erzgebirge, die uns noch das eine oder andere beigebracht haben. Nach der Hälfte der Strecke haben wir ein gemütliches Picknick eingelegt und bei leckerem Essen die Akkus wieder aufgeladen.
