The most anticipated election this year – the US election – is already in full swing. And the events have truly come thick and fast. No longer just in national media coverage or on the stages of local election events, the battle between the largest parties in the USA, the #Democrats and the #Republicans, is in full spotlight of the international press. Our latest media analysis findings reveal that: 📺The prestigious presidential TV debate between President Joe Biden and ex-President Donald Trump back in June shifted public attention, spotlighting Donald Trump, especially after the attempt on his life and the performance by Joe Biden 📉 The attempted assassination on Trump in Pennsylvania had only a short-lived effect on coverage 📢 #KamalaHarris's prominence in the political arena increased as calls for Biden's resignation grew louder 🔍 Her visibility reached new heights once Biden officially announced his withdrawal Stay tuned – we will share more insightful findings next week!     #listentotheworld

But media work is also an integral part of their communication as informing the public and raising awareness about maladministration in the government or potential grievances in industry sectors benefits the economy. Today, we explore how well German industry associations have achieved this during the first half of 2024. Who has the greatest impact on leading media and manages to set the agenda for change in their respective fields?
