Two of our team members joined the annual “cycle to work” campaign as “up2e! wheel pirates”. Both cycled a total of 1.465 kilometres and thus saved 288 kg CO2. There were actually three team members! But the one in the middle had to run the whole time, so those kilometres were not counted. 😉 At up2e!, we treat water and our environment with respect – in every respect!  #roturi #ozone #AOP #watertreatment #wastewater

🌊 Industriewasser platzsparend und effizient aufbereiten? Mikro- und Nanopartikel vollständig aus Wasser herausfiltern? Grünen Wasserstoff aus Klärschlamm herstellen? Wie das gehen kann, zeigen Projekte des von der ZUG betreuten BMUV-Förderprogramms Exportinitiative Umweltschutz (EXI) bei der heutigen Jahrestagung in Berlin. Constanze Haug, unsere Geschäftsführerin, hat die rund 100 Teilnehmenden aus der GreenTech-Branche, von Partnerorganisationen und dem Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz, nukleare Sicherheit und Verbraucherschutz (BMUV) im Atrium der ZUG willkommen geheißen. Umweltstaatssekretär Stefan Tidow eröffnete die Veranstaltung und betonte, Umweltschutz lohne sich, der deutsche GreenTech-Mittelstand sei starker Partner des Umweltschutzes. Auf dem Programm standen Fach- und Impulsvorträge, Projekt-Vorstellungen und die gemeinsame inhaltliche Arbeit an ausgewählten Themen, wie die Finanzierung von Umwelttechnologie-Vorhaben. In ihren bereits mehr als 200 Projekten unterstützt die EXI deutsche GreenTech-Unternehmen dabei, innovative Umwelttechnologien "Made in Germany" international zu verbreiten. up2e! is growing – a warm welcome to our new team members! Srikanth, Faezeh and Mick (from left to right) complement our team not only with their exceptional skills but also with their culture, personality and great work ethics. Unfortunately, our fourth new team member, Yvonne, missed the photo session, but not a piece of cake!   We couldn’t think of a better way, than to celebrate this with a wonderful Roturi® cake! As we couldn´t find any bakery nearby to handle making a Roturi® cake, we did it by ourselves. Today´s World Water Day is all about Water for Peace!   Water for peacekeeping - in countries around the world, already affected by water scarcity and pollution, access to clean water for everyone is of utmost importance to ensure stability. As soon as access is made impossible or even denied, conflicts are inevitable. Sensitive collaboration between countries and municipalities is required.   up2e! is convinced that the implementation of our Roturi®- based solutions by means of optimized oxidation as effective and cost-efficient water and wastewater treatment helps to ensure protecting water resources.
